If anyone has heard of the finke desert race in Alice springs Australia and you want a challenge it's 470km of sheer he'll atleast 80km of straight deep woops and fast over 500riders and 80 off road buggies .

I've done 4 finished 3 blew the berg up this year but going back next year for unfinished business race if you like to have your berg full throttle.

I met Toby Price on Friday arv. This guy won the race on his debut appearance and is the current Aussie off road champion. What a top bloke he was an absolute gentlemen and he couldn't have been more pleasant to talk to. I am now even more of a fan. Seems weird I idolize someone younger than me. Look out Europe I recon he'll be over there soon.

The top riders get up to speeds of 160km to 170km an hour half the time the helicopters can't keep up .
Your definitely right Toby will be hard to beat in any enduro.
There's only 2 other riders in this race that are legends randal Gregory on a cr500 won this 5years in a row and Ben graham 3years in a row .
Good luck Toby I'm sure he will beat the record.
 
I'll be there in 2011, but only to have a look prior to heading for the Simpson, and then turning left at Birdsville and up to the Kimberly before getting back the the centre via the Canning and Tanami and then home via whatever route appeals. On the Suzi this time though, not the Berg.

I'll be waving the Berg flag however, good luck titan.

4 times titan ? going for a 5th ? I feel knackered just reading the reviews about it. :lol: A guy from my town went last year and he reckons he was lucky to finish.

Sounds like and epic adventure steve, I'd be divorced if I spent that much time away...on a bike anyway 8)
