That AWD set up doesn't look cumbersome or over complicated at all, ha ha ha!

My First Project Bike

Was also my my first motorcycle and only form of mechanised transport for years. Also my race bike. Meant I spent a lot of time on the treadly.

Pics taken just before it was sold. Needed a pillion bike for SWMBO, building a house, studying properly, etc.

Folan and ISR Brakes are cooperating on producing a new 650 twin. The first priority application is to replace 250 two-strokes in the Super Cart class. I guess a very lightweight twin, revving 13000rpm could feel at home in another environment as well...

-Valve
action at 14000 rpm~
everything is beyond our wildest illusion...:)
P/s: look at 0:58 onwards... valve start spinning...
Valve materials integrity & weight is ultra
important at high rpm. Any valve float & collapse
means severe damage to your engine..
The valves cycle at half the speed of the engine's
crankshaft, so at 9000 rpm the valves open 4500
times per minute, or 75 times each second or
13.33 milliseconds!!!
"The peak rpm that we can see here is at 14000
rpm, so the valve will open 7000 times per
minute, or 116.66 times per second, or once for
every 8.57 milliseconds. So how an F1 engine at
18000 rpm.-just like a strange illusion"

This is a head off a bmw 1000.
I now cringe when I hear four stroke.
