Woke up the other morning out camping and had to unhook the battery of my 2010 fx450, the bike was just sitting there and it kept making an electrical noise and the Fi light would light up at the same time. it wasnt trying to crank but when it would do it, if i pushed the stop button it would stop it for a sec but continue making the noise a few seconds later with the light still lighting up everytime,
has this ever happened to anyone before?

I know you said you were out camping.........but you didn't happen to have a batter tender hooked up to it did you?

This is a very common occurance when using the newer battery tenders as they will peak the voltage occasionally causing the power relay to pick up.

If your fuel pump is cycling when the bike is just sitting there, then something is causing the power relay to pick up and cycle the fuel pump. The power relay picks up only when it gets voltage from the stator or alternator when the motor spins over.

I have been hanging around the bike for most of the afternoon since i hooked the battery back up and i havent heard anything, but if it does start back up i will try and pinpoint where it was coming from.
thx 4 your help
