FE650 Head oil issue

I just replaced my head gasket and timing chain on my 2005 FE650. After adjusting the valves, I left the inspection covers off while I cranked it to make sure enough oil is getting to the head. I did not see much oil. On a Japanese bike, oil would be spraying out. I think this bike is oiled by the cam chain. Can someone give me a little input on this?

sounds normal to me. iirc the only models w/ an oil gallery to the rockers were the '01-'02, maybe 03. if there is a tiny oring between the head and top cover, its an oiler.

there won't be Ned. as you say, the 2001-3s were the only ones that lubricated the top end.

seeing a little spit is about all you get.
