I had read that these were all stainless steel, does anyone know what grade? I pulled mine off and cleaned it up yesterday, it didn't look stainless to me after I sand blasted it, I cleaned it up with scotchbrite and just had a look and theres patches of surface corrosion all over it...

That would make sense. Now I've blasted it all off LOL. Guess I'm painting it!
