I'm going to freshen up the top end and am looking at ProX or Wossner piston kits and I'm having difficulty trying to find somewhere in OZ where I can get aftermarket gaskets or should I stick with Genuine all the way.

Any advise appreciated

Lancer, go the Wossner. Wossner forged, ProX cast.

Speak to Clint at MMG. Tell him Al at Beechworth sent ya.

Interesting Wossner are no longer supporting the FE570 nor any of the 70 degree engines for that and there are no aftermarket gaskets available either.......

Looks like it'd off to KTM so they can have their way with me 8-(

Bugger, I was wanting him to get a set for me to keep away for future.

The Wossner I put in the FE450 70* is for a KTM, so was the gasket set.

I just bought one of those piston kits above.

450 cyl base gasket is the same.

Head gasket I'm having troubles finding. These two are the important gaskets.

You probably already know that most part numbers for the bergs are available as ktm parts, just google ktm and the 'berg part number'.
Look the part number up in a berg fiche and google it.

78830036000 (570 Head gasket)

Google 'KTM 78830036000'

Thanks Tom Tom. Was trying to find an aftermarket that's no where near the $120 OEM part in the interim.
