fe570 poor idle and or die on throttle

I have a 2011 fe570 with 108 hrs on it. issues started a week ago with surging when holding a steady throttle, progressivly got worse to the point where it would idle but on throttle of 1/2 or more it would die with whats sounds like a bit of a back fire. its now to the point where it will idle for a bit and die and dies almost instantly on any throttle.if i turn back the idle speed it just dies sooner, at this moment its set high.

I have went over and checked the batt and termianls as well as frame ground. all seem good. i have pulled the fuel line quick connect apart and as far as i can tell their isnt one, or thats not where its located. I have also checked the TPS. specs say .351-4.784 i measured .384-4.34 not sure where to go from here, fuel pressure?

Sounds like a fuel pressure issue. Check the inline fuel line, if it's grey it's not ok, throw it out and get a new one from KTM or fit your own filter. Check the fuel pump, it may be running but not with enough pressure, again your KTM dealer can check this and finally check for any loose or split fuel line hoses in the tank, I had a fuel line split inside the tank and it had the exact symptoms, it was a very small split and hardly noticeable.
good luck!

inside the gas tank is a fuel filter that needs renewing periodically.

Left dirty, it can exhibit those problems you guys are having.
When I replaced mine, it looked like this...amazing that the motor even ran at all..
