FE570 creeps with clutch pulled in

My FE570, Magura clutch, still creeps with the clutch pulled in. When I burp the throttle or put on brake, the clutch comes loose. As soon as I pump the trottle or put on brake I can feel the clutch totally disengage. Otherwise, it just barely still creeps forward.

I've tried bleeding several times and it doesn't change anything. Thinking that I wasn't getting it properly bled, I took it to the local KTM dealer and had them bleed. Still same situation. They took a look at the clutch plates and said everything looks good. They indicated there aren't any warped plates and it appears to be operating as supposed to.

They seemed to think my oil might have something to do with the plates wanting to stick. Currently, I'm using Motorex 10W50. Previously I had used Castrol 10W50. I find it hard to believe, but they think maybe the fact that I've used different oils might cause the plates to stick. Their only solution is to use the bike as is changing oil frequently with the same oil.

Has anybody experienced anything like this? Any thought on the oil mixing? Other than changing the oil frequently, is there anyway to resolve the oil mixiing issue?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Does it happen only when the engine is cold, or both cold and hot?

I had my FE390 only for few weeks, and I noticed that when engine is cold, clutch does not disengage. When I shift into first the bike jumps forward. When engine warms up the stiction mostly disappears.

What oil do you use? And yes. As cold it will drag a bit more then warm.
You are not suppose to stund still thou. Drive! ;)

My previous couple oil changes I used Motorex, 10W50, Full syn. Previous to that I used Castrol 10W40 full syn.

A friend bled my clutch what he did was not pull in the clutch lever all the way in only about 3/4 in each time. but just like you bleed anything. I thought he was nuts but it work. Before we started clutch wasn't working at all. Hope this helps

This happens on my 390 as well doesnt matter if its hot or cold...bled the clutch a few times (standard and reverse bled), tried different oil for no difference. The bike struggles to start if its in gear as well....
Even though the plates arent warped i am tempted to change them to see if it makes any difference but i am interested to see if there are any other ideas on this thread..

U tryed setting The lever some as well?
It is Suppose to be a bit short as it is a race bike. You dont want it to make you use full clutch every time so u can swap gears.

The slave cylinder bolts must be tight! Design has the slave partially depress the rod and when the clutch lever is applied it further depresses the "ball bearing" against the rod. Bleed good. If there is brake fluid in the slave cylinder cup, you need to replace seals. Clutch master cylinder may also need rebuild.
