FE570 clock battery????

Does the LCD display have an internal backup battery? Reason I ask is that the time clock keeps resetting to 00:00:00 when the bike is parked up and the display goes very dim when scrolling through to input the correct time, except when the engine is running and the display has main battery power. The main battery is new recently so no issues there.

Yes, I had to replace the one in my '11 FE390. Its a CR2430 coin size battery. You'll see the round cover on the bottom of the display.

The OEM PN is 58314068000 in case you're having a hard time finding a CR2430 locally.

Thanks for the info :thumb:. I suspected as much. The CR2430 seems to be readily available so that's a job for the weekend. The total Hours and odometer are unaffected luckily so must be stored on a chip of some sort I guess.
