FE570 battery drain issue

I have an FE570 which i believe is a 2009. I bought it with very low hours already equipped with a Timbersled snowbike kit installed. I rode it for 1 1/2 seasons until last year at the end, the one time I came home I didnt unload it into garage, it rained all night. The next morning i went to fire it up in the back of my truck and battery was flat dead. Stuck my Fluke meter on it and got like 2 volts or something (its been awhile). The season wasnt quite over yet so I sprung for a new $110 battery. It of course started fine and 8 rode that day and put it inside the shop when I got home. A few days later it was dead as dead can be again.
Im going to wire up a good battery and put my meter in series on the positve side and see what kind of current drain I am getting. Has anyone had simular issues? I'd appreciate any help you can give me on this.

The only issue I've had is when I left my heated grips turned on (wired direct to battery) but I guess you'd realize if you'd left anything on. Unless you've wired in any accessories all power except the starter goes through the power relay so I'd start by checking that out.

I havent wired any accessories but the previous owner installed the fan kit. I wonder if a fuel pump issue could cause a drain, but I didnt have any problems last time i rode.
