FE550 '04 starter problem

Hello guys! Im new on the forum and its my first thread here
I got a problem on my Husaberg when I just took the electric starter off the engine for checking the brushes and bearings, every looked fine so I took in place again and when I was trying to fire it up with the e-starter its just not working like it has done before I removed it..
Now I took off the left cover of the engine and when I press the buttom it looks like that.. Can someone try to help me, and figure out the problem?

Taffy on here has a fix (kit) for that issue.
My 08' 550 does that too.

Im going to try my other spare starter before spending moola I dont need to though.

Look up some of my posts & you will see Taffy reply & a link to his store.

you probably don't have a problem.

put it back together and kickstart it. run it for about 1 minute and then try the starter button. IT WILL WORK FINE.

whenever you disturb the gears, add fresh oil, go on a trailer etc, the starter gears never seem to work.

I did a weekend green laning in Wales. I told the lad in the car:'My bike will start perfectly all weekend on the electric start EXCEPT when it gets off the trailer!'.

sure enough; that's what happened.
