FE450e first ride offroad WOW / After adjustments

I checked everything I can today on the bike and adjusted the front and rear suspension.. clicks you know :)

My rear sprocket needs replacement and the chain too.. I measured the space of 18 chain reels and it's 272,5 mm. :(

Being a small man ( 138 lbs without gear) I'm on the light side I guess and I have nothing to do with that.

I had a problem measuring and adjusting the static sag and the riding sag. I measured the static sag of 45mm which is way too much and had to be exactly 35mm. without increasing the preload I measured my riding sag and it is 100mm which is perfect.. so if I try to increase the preload to decrease the static sag to 35mm, it'll decrease my riding sag which is already perfect. I didn't change the preload of the spring assuming that my riding sag is ok..

I checked the oil level of the hydraulic clutch and it was ok. but I dont know what to do to prevent the clutch creeping in the first gear.

I find out one reason of noise from the engine ( from the space between my both feet ). It's the exhaust pipes junction point with the springs to the bigger tube.. there is no snug fit between them and when I rev up it vibrates a lot.. I dont know if I can put any insulater resistant to heat between them( the green circle ) and also the tube is in contact with the engine side cover scraped a trace already (the red circle)

I find out the reason of the head shake, the front tire has a balance problem, not the side ways but up and down bouncing. when I lift the front tire and turn it with my hand there is a point that the tire comes up about 2-3 mm each turn. I think this may be corrected by attaching weight to the opposite side spoke.

I made my first modification on the buttons and I think it's handy. On the left side I dismounted the upper part of the buttons, turned it 180 degrees and mounted back. Now it's much more practical for me to use the shut off button with my thumb. Also you can use your thumb to push the horn (if you have one / I dont )

Now after these adjustments I rode the bike first time offroad....
WOW WOW WOW WOOOOW.. this bike is perfect, I fell in love with her in the 15th minute.. Hey BERGER thankyou again
I think our love will last forever unlike my former bikes ( DR650-XR400-CRF450R-YZ250).. FE450 is the best bike I ever rode..
and a few photos of today..

you can try re-seating the tyre. or as i have done, please buy some thick 4mm+ solder wire and spiral it around a spoke.

pull the front wheel out and then put the spindle back through the wheel. then bolt the spindle in a vice or stand between two dustbins etc etc etc. balance the wheel statically and i'm sure you understand the principle of adding a weight at the top of the wheel when doing the balancing. it is very easy to do.

undo all bolts on the exhaust, raise it with a screwdriver and then re-tighten all screws. i tapped a 'dink' in my exhaust also...

if the pipe still breaths, try a little dink again and make pipe like a 'D' profile!

you have small spacers in the top of your forks that you can remove to get the front sag right.

Glad you are getting your bike sorted and have had a chance for some fun riding.
Thanks for the great photos of the rocky terrain. Is there a trail in there somewhere?

Are those rocks or the worlds biggest dirt clods :)

No wonder you are getting headshake

Thankyou Taffy for the tips,

Logjump, Husabutt did the right guess. It's a ploughed field that got hard as rock after the rain/drying. There is no obvious trail there, where ever I aim my bike to go is my trail :)
