Hi guys I m new to the enduro world and bought a second hand bike that was not look after at all. I have been on 3 rides with no issue and last week I replaced my air filter load up the bike in my car the next morning (started no issue) drove to our driving spot and nothing, bike turns but does not start. I replaced the spark plug and I have spark, I can hear the fuel pump priming. Looked at the light fault code and it look like 2 short 1 long which does not exist as per all your guys thread. Any help would be great, anything O should try before spending big bucks at the mechanics. Cheers

Thanks for the info, I could not go to the shop and get a new one today so I tried to jump start it from my 4x4 (did not start it in case) but still smae result turn but does not start. Should it work like that or I need to try with a new battery? Any othet idea? Cheers

So I went a different way and tested my fuel pump, because if I disconect the fuel line just after the tank at the plug in connection and try to start the bike there is no fuel coming out when I guess it should. Am I wrong? So I thought maybe the pump does not work. I got it out and tested it with water and a battery and it pump all good. But then when plugging it to the rest of the internal line (in the tank) all the way to the Outlet of the tank (where you plug the fuel pump connector) one of the line blow out and nothing come out of the tank. Like something is blocked. Am I on the right track or not? Cheers

It s the pressure regulator that does not allow fuel to come through i guess?

I second that quote on checking the pressure regulator. I had a Husky with the exact same problem (uses the same fuel pump assembly) and it ended up being the regulator. Trouble was getting the darn thing without buying the entire assembly so I ended up with a regulator from a Ducati.

Good luck!

Thanks guys I ll call around to get a regulator and let you know how I go. Any idea what model ducati one you bought?

Hey Frenchy how did you go? my 390 was doing th esame , found out it was i faulty ignition wire in the wiring loom. Took 2 mechanic shops to find it. Now have a faulty regulator rectifier which i am search for. But bike is now starting due to that faulty wire .

So as I said I m just a beginer and realized that the fuel line after the pressure regulator if not conected to the quick connect act as a check valve.. So my pressure regulator work. I need to see if fuel pass the injector now which I will test this morning. And then I m not sure what to do. Probably sill have to drop it to the mechanic. So did you have spark and what not even with the faulty wire? I ll let you guys know. Thanks

Still can t find the issue, I have fuel and sparks. So I will drop it to a mechanic and let you guys know. Cheers

So got it back from the shop and they think it s an intake valve that s bent. So not really happy as I bought it like 2 month ago and only rode it twice. The guy that had before was not taking care of it what so ever. So now i m up to try to replace it my self or save money and get it done. I ll let you guys know. Cheers for the help

Hey guys it took me a while to reply but I wanted to let you know that after replacing the valve and adjusting the valve clearance the bike is starting again. So all good on that side and thanks heaps for all the info. The only issue I have now is that as soon as I try to put a gear in the buke is stalling snd it feel like I got no clutch. It s weird coz the clutch lever as pressure so might be the actual clutch ij the engine bay. Inll need to open and have a look.
