Fe450 2008 - Clutch Squeal

Hi,

Newbie here to the whole berg scene. Great place to help me along the way to getting the fe.

Recent purchase of a Fe450 - 44hrs use. Never owned a berg before this, went out for a ride this avo for the firstg time and theres a short loud squeal on load from the clutch/output shaft. Ive searched here and just wanted to make sure this is normal as i have seen 1 similar post. Rides fine all fluids done approx 1hr ago as per receipt from history.

found this, other than it being annoying... Is there any damage being done if I don't carry out the fix mentioned in the thread?

They all do it mate - I wouldnt worry about it.

Yup, pretty much normal. What motor oil are you running? Type and weight will have some effect.

Yep, mine does as well, you can improve it by regularly swaping the clutch plate order around but it always comes back,

Good to know was on here looking for the same answer, i was ready to tear into the clutch but thought at 20 hours it was a bit too soon to have to look at the clutch already.i dont even think its broken in yet and i change my oil after every ride and the filter every second change and have been tearing into the filters and find nothing solid machine :mrgreen:
