FE400E Starter Motor - What others are the same? KTM?

I am in need of a replacement starter motor for my 1999 FE400E and dont want to go to the expense of a new one and cannot get a second hand one.

Do any members know if any other models fit as I tried a different one and it was too short and the output shaft diameter was too small.

Most of the spares I but seem to match KTM's, is there any of those models that will fit?
