Hi just converting my berg to SM got 13 at the front n 42 with the rear what sort of gearing will this give me or should i be looking to go up on the back,for the uk roads???
 
42 is almost too much for the 400. i would think you're undergeared and need a 14 front. they are cheap enough - throw caution to the wind, throw your mooney around and get a 14 and a 15!

Cheers al try the 14,will a 15 fit withour any mods? i want it to be tame to startwith as i am on a restirced licence at 33@wheel,so would it pull with a 15 on?

no not with a 15. 6th might be an over drive but I think you'll have more than enough with a 14 on it.
