Fe390 fuel pump replacement, other parts? Tips

So as to not be different than everyone else, the fuel pump went on my 2010 FE390. As per the recommendations on this forum I have ordered a CA Cycleworks replacement. Before I start taking it apart this weekend I have a few questions:

1. Are there any other parts I should replace when I have the pump out?

2. Any tips / advice in replacing this part? My guide is the schematic in the Parts Manual. It does not look like rocket science but I might be missing something.

No rocket science, can only be connected one way. And you can disconnect the fuel hoses by carefully unhook the connectors using a small flat screwdriver. There are 4 slots where a special tool are to be inserted to disconnet them, but save the money.

Be careful with the screws though as you do not want a leak or damage you tank. Once I forgot the aluminium profile that holds down the air filter "bar" when I screwed back the top assembly into to the tank. The screws are long enough to pull through the plastics if that alu-profile isn't there. Tank ruined and I had to buy a new one. Can't be fixed due to difficult plastic... Don't do that stupid and expensive mistake.
