I finally took it out today for a short break-in session (after running a few heat cycles through it while awaiting some road legal bits). Even with the D606s @ 22/29 psi, this bike is a little tractor. If anyone's running a Rekluse in one of these bikes, they ARE cheating! The suspension seemed a bit firm at a slow pace but it smoothed right out once I got some speed going. The FI is very impressive -- such a huge difference over a carb. Not only does the fueling work without a hiccup, I would have to try to stall this thing. I've not been riding for some time lately, and the few rock gardens today were cake with the Husaberg. I was actually riding them a gear higher than I typically would. And the stints on the road also showed how smooth this engine is. Granted, I was running it in the lower rev range, but even at 50 mph this thing is a joy to ride over pavement, compared to my old '07 Husky TE450. Well, with the exception of the seat -- they're about equal in that department.
