FE390 Eats Spark Plugs Like Potato Chips

Hi, a good tip when changing spark plug is to just loosen plug, remove socket and push on some tubing to end of plug then use this to unscrew plug, same for putting plug back. There is such little room to work around the spark plug it would be easy to stress or crack the plug when removing or fitting. I check my plug often and always put some copper paste on the tread to make sure it doesn't seize in there. I did crack a plug prior to learning this tip, also saves burnt fingers when engine is hot.

do this issue happen once the bike heats up??? I have a brand new 2010 390 that once hot, 10-15 minutes into the ride starts coughing and stalling, let it cool off and it's fine?? was thinking fuel filter problem but after reading this I'm going to check my plug tonight...

does anyone know of a good replacement plug number instead of the oem $20 plug??

Remove the small fuel filter in the injector. That what fixed this particular problem for me. They swell up when they get hot and block the fuel flow.
