FE versus FS 570 questions

Guys,
There's got to be someone on site that knows, 09 / 10 / 11 FS 570 Factory motard......I'm told it's the same as an Fe 570 with different wheels. Guessing that's not the case but figured I'd ask. Was looking at an FS 570 to covert to an Fe for off road use and wondered what is actually different on the OZ models.

Cheers

Sorry, may have just answered my own question......at least from a suspension point of view it's shorter legs front and rear...at least

The forks are setup for a radial brake, a 21" wheel will not fit as the spokes will hit the caliper.

There is no way I know of to make it work aside from adjusting the wheel over and "clearancing" the caliper.

1-1/2" shorter suspension.

The triple clamps will be different as well to achieve the right amount of trail.

I ran my FS 2005 with dirt forks, and shock and the FS triples. It puts the front 21" wheel way out front (raked out). It would run wide in the turns.

I don't know about the 70° bikes swingarms, but the earlier bikes had a shorter one by an inch or so for a shorter wheelbase. A tall 18" knobby chews the mudflap if your sprocket/chain setup locates the axle in the middle of the dropouts.
