I have an offer of a FE600 1999 model.
stands since 2 years by my dealer - probably with stator failure.
the Dealer does (2 years ago) a new piston, conrod a.s.o for 1380€ and a ignition modul.
After this the bikes runs about 20 min.
The owner was frustrated and pluged no further money in the bike...
(But he pays the registration aproval.)
Now he will sell it.
I can buy it and repair it, but is there a market for such a bike?
First I thought I drive it here in munich on the cross track as my training bike, leave it by a fried. And have not to carry my 550 often the long distancefrom my hometown to munich by trailer.
But now I would not get a financial risk buying a dead stock bike.
I have a 600 1998 for collectors item and a FE550 for riding and need it not really.
What shoult I do?
