Edit: Got my answer from Taffmeister re: the cam wear. But I'll leave all this up just in case. He stated it's fine to use.

After some disassembling I discovered I had a broken intake valve (right if sitting on bike) and a beat up shim laying in the head. But no other damage so far including the piston.

The cam has some wear on it though. Can't feel it with I run my nail or finger over it but it's a little concerning. Is this normal wear or do I have another issue? Few friends are suggesting an oiling issue. If it an oiling issue it more likely a clogged passage or a pump?

Here are the pix of the cams and a few other items.

Thanks!

Cam wear: it depends on how many hours it has, if it is 300 then it is normal for it to be so.
For the lubrication problem, you can start the engine with the start button and see if the oil flows abundantly from the lubrication holes

Yeah if there's any part that has me concerned it's the oiling so that's a good call. Otherwise parts are ordered, I'll torque everything down, triple check the valve clearance and see how she runs!

I should've checked the clearances initially before I rode it after I bought it since it was used. That falls squarely on me.

Any more word on your cam wear? I have 440 hours on my cam and it looks like this (red arrow- cam, blue arrow-
exhaust rocker). Wonder if it’s a problem. I’ll replace the rockers. They’re clearly worn.
