hi im needing some help with my fe 550 ive just completley rebuilt the engine and its smoking badly and burning lots of oil any ideas to the problem would be great
What have you done in the rebuild process??? New piston and ring? valves? More detail will get you the answer sooner
hi i have had the liner replated new piston un rings all bearings and seals including valve stem oil seals the bike ran sweet the first two times i rode it after rebuild

also check the breather isn't spewing oil into your intake .. oil level too high etc
maybe try an open breather
