Hi,
to complete rear wheel refurbishing I renewed sprockets, chain and chain guide as well. Maybe this is helpful for someone...
Since the old chain guide is somehow pretty worn I decided to order a new one (pics below). Same with the sprockets. I opted for the original ratio I ordered a 15/48 sprocket set and MX chain D.I.D 520 with 120 links. Parts with KTM part no. in brackets:
For enduro or trailriding purposes any O-/X-ring chain will last longer than the MX-chain since the chain lubrication lasts longer between the sealing rings (the MX has no rings).
To make the chain fit, I needed to remove 4 links (I did not exactly know what length suits best since I used a different sprocket set before). So 116 chain links should be sufficient for 15/48.
I was a little disappointed with the circlips for the front sprocket - I ordered 4 and all of the look different (different bend, open, etc.) ... standard items should somehow look identical I thought

- Chain Guide Retaining Plate '94, aluminum (50207070044): 21,24€

- Front Sprocket by JT Sprockets, JTF823.15, steel, 15 teeth: 17,90€
- Rear Sprocket by JT Sprockets, JTR897.48, steel, 48 teeth: 28,90€
