Hey Guys, I know this is my first post and the title suggests I didn't even try to find similar posts in this Forum but please hear me out.

I recently bought an FE 400 with the 2X Single Phase Stator and single wire regulator which seems to do his job.
But one big Problem are my indicators which were fitted by the previous owner because these are LEDs.
Knowing a little bit about electronics I know you obviously can't run LEDs with AC so my main question is how some of you would go about this Problem.

I already looked for Regulator / Rectifiers with Single Phase rectification but these seem to be quite rare or need you to have a battery becuase the output ripple of the DC would be too bad so my indicator would start to flicker..
One thing I might add is that I've ordered a 4 Pin R/R which are commonly used in GY6 engines/bikes but I can't figure out how to wire them up correctly..

I'd be very thankful for any help someone might give me

i think you'll find that the indicator relay for LED is different. we did have them here but I dropped the advert.

Hi tank you taffy, the relais was already changed for LED but the ripple is just too much

I might add that I tried my whole setup with a 12V car battery connected instead of the stator input and it worked perfectly, thank you very much tho!

OK. I'm not going to checxk but just throw this out there. don't they run a positive lead that is direct from the battery and not just evrything in the pool between reg/rec/battery/stator?

on the 2004s they run DC and AC.

cheers

Dont know what you mean exactly but currently there is no battery in this bike.
Can you suggest a single phase R/R?
Maybe it will be enough for supplying my tachometer and indicators without ripple
