Hi guys, i'm almost finish a business with an FE 400 from 2001

THE NEGATIVE:
The bike is not working, broken stator
i'm not a mechanic, i need to spend money on it

THE POSITIVE
1000€
the owner says the rest works fine
carborator rebuilt with glicleurs kit from taffmeisters
two deposits

We are in 2022 and the bike is from 2001! Make sense?! What can i expect, what surprises can emerge?

Any one can help me with this? What do you have to say about the husa 400FE?

when you put the stator in you must silicon seal up the cover to the engine
silicon the rubber into the cover
silicon the wiring conduit into the rubber
silicon where the 6 wires leave the conduit and use a zip-tie to make sure it is 100% sealed.

after the first jet wash, prise the cover off and check if no water inside. if none, use a small smear of silicon for this time and don't undo this cover again for a very long time!!

I believe I'm the only person that sells the ignition stator with the correct timing supplied.
