Just got an FE 390 which used to be one of the Midwest Husaberg bikes for Ollie Moyce. Wow, it's great! it has a little more go than standard but feels so very different from my 501, unrecognisable from the old school. The sharpness of the whole bike is a world away, but somehow not so alluring? Has anyone else found the transition from old to new somehow underwhelming? I can only describe it as going from vinyl to CD, the convenience should be great but some of the warmth and character has gone. To ride with and live it should all be easier and I am sure I wouldn't swap back after a few more hours. Has anyone else on an older 'berg made a concious decision to stay old school? Do you think new ones somehow lack soul?
