FCR query

Just bought an FCR off ebay, apparently from a 550 but has no choke, hot start or breathers fitted???
The jetting seems spot on and the bike has been transformed from the old Dellorto.
Has anyone else come across an FCR with no choke or is this common on older versions?
Not even any obvious points where breather hoses would fit on....... slightly confused but also amazed with the transformation in power.

cheers BB, thats a relief on the choke front, any ideas how many breather pipes a MK1 should have and where?

I just fitted a mk 1 FCR and it only has one breather. Photos in my gallery.

thanks Loz, i obviously need to get something plumbed in up there before i hit the dirt, BTW whats the plate on the inlet tract for? i take it you've fixed that in yourself.

any aftermarket carb came without a choke so it's not from a production bike. it also means you are stuck with the APJ and a good dollop at that. not a problem really. as loz says, you only need the one breather.

i haven't looked at any photos but some bikes have a balnk for the hot start and another for the TPS.

That's a thing called a "powernow". It was on there when I got it on Ebay. Dunno if it does any good but giving it a try.
