Going to open up pipe+ AIR BOX

Proposed jetting
main jet165
pilot jet 45
main air jet 200
low air jet 100
needle #4 pos obemp
2 turns fuel screw

Taffy, wot do you think of the my proposed jetting+ needle?, ive read many posts were emm emn emp ect are a good base and big improvement on my [standard obdvr, lean to pass emision standards ] as the needle is the heart of the right jetting, any advise would well apreciated. thanks

A topic I've been interested to get feed back on is the FCR 41 vs. the 39 for post 04 450's. I know this has nothing to do with the original topic. The FC when made was equiped with the 41mm and all japanese MX 450's are as well. Sredrum off of TFZtech will taper bore the 39mm to 41mm for $125 including shipping back to you. Cheap mod if its worth doing. Opinions please...

WTF?

dude1

i don't have any opinion. the EMM was the perfect needle for the WR400 and the EVR is perhaps the perfect needle forr the husaberg. they only thing they've eended up sharing is my lean low speed jetting and perhaps similar MJs but i'm afraid the one bit that is relevant to your bike is the needle and i really can't say....

regards

Taffy

K-DUB Sorry dont have an answer for that but TT site have some 39 vs 41 threads, might help 8O

Taffy if im right your the Taffy who contributed a lot to "jetting Qs" at TT, thats why i called on yourself for a second opinion, got the 165 + 45 just waiting for EMP needle now.
I read some were that Dave Hopkins favorite Keihin needle was a EMN ,And i was hoping the needle wasnt model specific,Where or who on the net [Read most on speedzilla TT supermoto junkie]would know.
One guy that has done a lot of testing has good results with a sm610
185 main
145 pilot
jd red needle
But i was suggested by a experienced jetter to go for the EMP 165 mj , as i didnt want to go the jd way,[common parts easier to get in AUS] Therefor was surprised at the 165 mj, Any thoughts.

Ps i agree about tt taking down moving Jetting Qs [ i couldnt find it ] would have been good to read. :(

Thanks for your reply

it's good that all the arseholes collect at one point and leave the rest of us to live normal lives.....well. relatively "normal" these are husabergs after all!

as i say, i don't have an opinion on it.

Taffy
