Hallo everyone! my first post in this site,
Have been around and lookt on this site for a while and its the best Husa site around.
Now I had some thing in my head that i need help with so i can sleep at night :? And its start with I was talking to Martin Lind (very nice guy) about his factory bike and he told me they was using a borredout 41 carb to 43.7-44mm (2 diffrent carb) and i hade before lookt at Husaberg.org an seen a 41.8mm and it seems about as big that you can get (whit little safe on the ring in the trottle) maybe a little bigger say 42mm. But the factorybike was so big that the ring woud dessaper? and a also have talked to a guy at Husaberg in Örebro and he tell me they milled the carb to 44mm straight true. The stock carb (or every carb) have a taper in and out like a veniture(maybe not right spell) to get a higer air speed over the needle to get better suction off the fuel. with the ring borred out it just is a 1/3 ring left in the buttom and when the trottle is higher then that the slot for the trottle on the side is just caus turbulens and i just wonder how much better the carb woud be if you had the taper and the ring in and had it like
43,7-44mm in the center. woud a 650 benafit from that carb? seems like the 650 is a little undercarb anyway if you look at smaler bikes running 41 also. or maybe its to big anyway? that do you think?
And Martin told me that they had 76 hp at the backwheel on it
