I've just got hold of an FCR41 to replace my delorto due to starting problems. Now this came straight off a VOR570 factory supermotard so would be a reasonable bet to at least start, so i could check the set-up.
Well this is where it all falls apart for me as usual. She would (eventually!) start using the dellorto but won't do a damn thing with the FCR fitted. I was hoping to at least start it before taking it to the local dyno to be set-up properly.
I have checked for spark and it is good and strong (should be it's a brand new coil and plug!)
Fuel is getting into the carb as I have checked the float bowl and the acceleration pump works and spits a good amount of fuel out.
Valve clearances are good as well
Now one thing is the auto decomp has been slackened off at the cable as it wouldn't start with the dellorto fitted and not backed off! ??
Anyone got any ideas?
Sorry havn't got the sizes and settings etc yey as I'm sulking and refuse to go back into the shed unless I'm holding a chainsaw and the bergs going to get it! :x
