Will this flywheel run lights? View attachment 6759

I have a flywheel 101 801 05 A1 - which powers the lighting coils too. The SEM is built as "two layer system". The first one provides the charging coils for the CDI/coil and the pick-up coil (split: 1 coil for pick-up and another 4 in opposite). The second layer comes with "lighting coils" (360° around). Therefore the flywheel requires two magnetic "rings" as well. The outer one for the lighting coils (360° filled with magnets), the inner one with magnets and metal strip for pick-up and charging coils.

I never had an FC flywheel but I assume it's only half as thick as the FE one. Maybe somebody who has both systems does know better.

Assume this should have a nut on it [emoji51]

Update: Just saw this picture from one of your older posts - looks like you cannot power the lighting coils... somehow it looks the "outer" ring with magnets is missing...

Hi

If you have the FC flywheel you can not power lights.

Even if you have the FE stator, but you have the FC flywheel, you can't, because you don't have the magnets to excite the coils.

Here you have the 2 flywheels
