I have a Husaberg FC470 and it won't kick start, but will start when it gts towed. Its got a weak spark, but changed plug ect.. Any Ideas please?

this can sometimes be the classic sign of a failing sem stator, first you need to check it with a multimeter you need to look for
between wires
red/black 3000 ohm +/- 10%
green/black 168 ohm +/- 10%

if this is your problem i can help you, as i rewind sem stators.
at £120 with free return postage ( to anywere in the world ) and 12 months warranty.

cheers kris

stator is an obvious one as mentioned by the salesman. also....

you can have what appears to be a weak spark because you've been kicking the crap out of it and covered the plug in fuel. this then makes it a poor conductor and thus the weak spark.

look to get the ignition timing mark re-marked on the flywheel
then start the bike and strobe and adjust the ignition. put simply you want it to be 1mm to the left of centre as you look through the hole.

tappets at a 1/6th of a turn

get new jets in the carb

new cam chain

a new iridium plug
