FC470 camshaft?

Hello! I have a 2001 FC470, which I recently picked up.This bike does not appear to have been used more than 30-40 hours total. 8 years ago new crank bearings and 2 balance weight bearings were installed. The camchain made a slapping noise when kicking over and there was no spark. New stator fixed the spark issue. I have ordered a camchain, dual springs for valves, intake valves (they were tuliped) and rocker arm rollers. I have just purchased on ebay a camshaft from a 2004 450 that I plan on using instead of the camshaft currently in the 470 (steel sprocket and is marked 49/00 53) The 2004 camshaft is marked 800-5521 3/4067. My question is this 2004 camshaft a suitable replacement if my goal is to have a reliable engine that will used as a fun practice bike by a 69 year old vintage motocross rider? I do not prefer an engine that must be revved all the time or one that is all low end torque. thanks for any advice or information. John

The two cams visually appear to be identical, base dia. and lift measure to be the same so I was wondering if the numbers can prove that the cams are original to the engines? I hit the nail due to all the great info from this website and also the husaberg.org web with the Husaberg Motorcycle Owners Doc info! Both cams have concave ramps which is something that I have never noticed previously, but may be related to the rollers in the rocker arms. It seems that the lobes would seriously whack the valves open. Does anyone have info on the actual numbers on the cams as to what year, type of power etc.? I will also be addressing the cam chain guides and tensioner issues as mentioned. I had already removed the kick actuated compressiuon release cable as I am very familiar with the manual lever, and I really don't see how the timing could be correct with the kick actuated/
