FC450 07mod on 01mod frame?

I think the lack of response speaks volumes... but it's possible your post just hasn't been seen by the right people.

Personally I have no idea if this will work, but as far as I know the only major external differences between the two engines is the overall height.

What's the worst thing that could happen? You end up having to modify the frame of your 400? That doesn't seem like a disaster to me.

In my opinion, I would suggest you take a close look at the "owner's doc" and if you cannot see anything major, just go for it. The only thing that sticks in my mind from reading through a few years ago is there were some differences in the front wheel axle diameter. A bearing change or some spacers should sort this unless you're very unlucky.
