hi, bought a 99 fc501 just before xmas and what an odd but great bike it is lol! left foot kickstart? air intake runs through the frame? love it!
so a few things
1, why is there more than one feul pipe coming from the tank?????lol
2, whats this little lever do on top of the gearbox at the side of the kickstart? it has a slot for the barrel of a cable but theres no cable for it?
has anyone ever converted the air intake so it doesn't go through the frame? im a bit worried as theres paint flakes inside mine and I take it the bike doesn't run on these lol so think il be jet washing it out at the weekend
overall any helpful tips would be appreciated or advice on maintence, I bought the bike purely because its different! and a lot of fun and the engine looks really simple to remove and work on too! think its a 99 model!
