Hi Spenno, can you help us by giving more information? Has your bike got the up dated counter balance, timing chain/rockers. There have been many posts regarding noises on that side of the motor. It could be as simple as the normal ratchet sound that the auto decompression system makes while kicking the bike through. Let us know so we can help you.
Hi Spenno, I would recommend looking through the forum archives, under mechanical. There is a bottomless amount if info to educate yourself about your bike and the upgrades that have happened since 02. The best way would be to take the engine apart and see what you have or take your bike to a mechanic that is familiar with Husabergs, a lot has changed since 02.
On my 02 470FX the cam bearings gave up after about 30hrs, maybe yours are starting to? It happened during the ride on my bike but no damage was done.
