faulty fuel pump

This problem of my bike starting then stopping continues I’ve now taken the fuel pump out of my bike checked the filters ....they’re fine and the connections, plugged it back in, pressed the starter and no sound from the fuel pump, my bike has 100 hours I’ve checked the fuses battery leads earths all connections plug and the cap, I’m going to take it to the garage across from where I work and have them put some power through it, just to see if it has failed all the dealers in the uk, say they've never had a pump failure and believe it to be a broken wire!!!! One suggested the roll over sensor so before I drive for 2 hours any tips???????
 
There was another thread where it was reported that some batch of fuel pumps was failing due to temperature; they ran fine as long as they were running, but once you stopped the engine (after the pump was hot) the pump would not start again until cooled down. Something about tolerances once hot IIRC?

So, is your pump failing all the time - or only when it has been running a while and you stop the engine then try a restart? If the latter then you may have one of those pumps and you may want to talk to your dealer/Husaberg about a replacement as I don't think anything but a replacement would fix it. If not then maybe your problem is elsewhere.
 
Had the pump tested today it works fine!!! But I found what sounded like a wire arcing in front of the coil there's a relay of some sort which is tucked into the frame, well I pulled it out and it sounds like it's breaking down, I've no idea what this thing is !! Or what it does ..... Any suggestions ?

Can you take a picture off the relay? That would be a huge help in diagnosing your problem. - ET
