Just got back from the third annual Fathersday ride . My *** is draggin. 270 miles I think. Both bergs performed flawlessly.

Hot here around 95 but we had plenty of water crossings to cool off in , some high mountain medows full of wild flowers, some REAL TIGHT ( cant see ten feet in fromt of you ) trails , 100 mph dry lake and of course My daughters with the chase truck full of snacks and drinks.

Velo and Brenden from here made it and they can fill you all in. Hopefully Dave will send me some pics so I can share since I forgot my camera. All in all a great weekend with some very nice people, no big crashes no breakdowns and only two flats and I think I found someone that can change a tire faster than John 8O

More later I gotta unload the truck

absolutely fantastic ride. i too am looking forward to pix, since my camera committed suicide on gold bar rim last fall. that was probably the best group of that size (10-ish) that i've ridden with. everyone really knew how to ride, and was smart enough to not ride in such a way as to break bikes or bones and ruin it for everyone. spectacular terrain. lots of mormon crickets  , and of course saturday was followed by my favorite hobby, cracking a few post-ride brewskis while still in my riding gear, w/o having to worry about doing anything or driving anywhere.

thanx to bobzilla for the invite, and to his daughters for coming up with the best father's day present idea ever in the history of the world.

what a beautiful setting Kelsow.. gotta love all that green too bad your 5000 miles away or I would like to join in next year. Is that a fund raiser? Good photo's and a few bergs i see :D

Yep, a fund raiser for the Ride for Sight. It's a foundation for RP,
retinitis pigmentosa.

Cheers to all you fathers out there  Kelsow, you guys are truly blessed to get to ride in that kind area. The tree huggers over here would drop there colon on the ground if we rode through that stuff, love it and protect it!

Glad to hear you guys had a great ride! Hope your ankle/foot is feeling good after the misfortune you had earlier this year Bob.

Thank you Bob, John, and family for another super stupendous Father's day ride. I am also pleased that my last minute assembled piecer did not blow up, despite Bob and Velo's doubt, suspecting otherwise. I think the chicken that one of my riding buddies said he was going to sacrifice to the dirt bike gods, must of cancelled out the Bob and Velo bad mojo. I did a better job putting together the engine, than the factory. You guys really missed out on a showcase ride on what living to ride is all about. But then again, perhaps I should look on the bright side, and be glad you didn't show up, as that meant I had to eat that much less dust. As Velo mentioned, it was a fantastic group of riders, probably the best of any sizable group that I have ridden with. There was also a female rider that is probably the best woman I have ridden with and seen. She is just as good or better than a lot of the guys I know.
