When I installed my fan kit, the directions showed a rubber boot that covers the wire connectors on the thermo switch. My kit didn’t contain a rubber boot. I just have individual insulators on the spade clips and unprotected lead wires. Did anyone else get a kit without the rubber boot? Thanks.
Same for me. I suspect they switched to the individual mini-boots to reduce their manufacturing cost. Hopefully it will still work fine.
Ask your dealer for one of the rubber lever crate protectors off the end of a lever when they uncrate a new Hasaberg. You will need to cut off the angle connectors and use straight connectors. Cut a hole in the small end of rubber cap, push over wire, crimp on new straight connectors, connect to fan switch, push cap on to thermo switch and zip tie if you want. works better then old one that came with kits.
