where are you situated. Do you live in Gore near Lachute. I'm in Hudson,Qc I got a 2005 fs650e that I use for street and trails. Good to see another Quebecer on this forum.
as for the fan I've heard of people putting computer fans on the 2005 models and not having any issues. Maybe an option
I have install 2 computer fans,very flat $6 each,attached to the Boss radiator guards with no problems all summer long.When i enter slow section i just flick the switch. BTW i removed the thermostat for summer but put it back for fall. :wink:
hey , installed 4" radioshack computer fan to the left bottom side of radiator for 3 years, $12.00. put an off/on switch with a fuse straight to the batt, and its worked great for my 05 550. (thanks cheeseberger for selling that bike to me for a steal)
