Failing temp. switches

My fan stop working on my 10 fe570 and found the temp switch was bad. I replaced it with a replacement BMW one and it failed after two rides. Is this just a coincidence?
 
I had a problem with my temp sensor but my fan was comming on at low temp and staying on.
I replaced the sensor with a new Toridon switch/sender/sensor P.N.(TFS106) and this fixed the problem.

Yeah I had the same prob as you Tazer, fan was on all the time.
Replaced it with the OEM 78035045000 and seems to be OK now.
