i need to get a certificate of manufacture for my '02 husey. i need to road register it. it was made in sweden-the last production run.

so has anyone got the right e-mail address and know who to speak to?

any dealers needed and done the same thing?

Taffy

Good luck Taffy! you're going to need it.

I suspect you may get refered back to Dave Clarke.

Perhaps you'd be best trying KTM in Austria?

Simon

I would try the dealer first, he should be able to get one from the importer.

thanks all especially mikst for the addy. if it doesn't work i shall bump this until i get an austrian e-m or summink!

regards

Taffy

Taffy i think the only place to get your certificate is with the importer as i think it may be a document from the dvla but you will also need an mot you may be able to get a daylight mot for which i think you only need an electronic horn.

Hey Taffy,

I have the same thing on my 02. Clarke is sending me some sort of letter from Husaberg.

Mikst

David Larsson is personally sending me a certificate from sweden by snailmail.

thanks for all the help everyone.

regards

Taffy

He often give straight answers, so he is quite easy to deal with.
I hope you manage to reach your goal.

Being in the States my situation may be different. However- I needed to get one for my 01 and was told by KTM that it was illegal to produce a duplicate MSO. I ended up calling Husaberg in Sweden directly and talked to Ingela Andersson who sent me something (signed by her) vaguely resembling an MSO certifying all the stats and the VIN of my bike. It looked quite different than the original and raised lots of eyebrows when I went to register. After numerous visits and inspections it did manage to suffice...
