Been around for coil over cars along time. Just need a measurement for the bearing. It does look like they have it recessed in the collar. Little bit of dirt protection.
Went to Pivot Works sight but couldn't find a good picture
Talon do an adjustable collar, the pre-loader, though theirs works on having a stepped collar.
saw knighter adjusting his shock at a check last time he was up took him about 10 seconds to adjust the sag to what he wanted using this, took him longer to get a screw driver out of his bag.
Since I've been taking my shock off after every ride, I decided to go ahead and add a thrust bearing under the spring. I have just changed over to .47 in the front and PDS-2. Been adding pre-load in the rear after every ride. Because of this I doubt I will feel a difference from the bearing. It does make adjustments much easier.
Factory dust seal was added(stock inner tube  ).
For you guys that have connections with manufactures
Make a spring rubber insert like NASCAR and other race cars use
would be simple to do
easy to install and remove
If you have a ten coil spring and block out one coil you will increase spring about 10%
