Hey guys who makes or sells a nice sano Exhaust heat shield for that gap behind the foot peg on the pipe side that tends to find the inside of your boot & melt the leather onto the pipe?

also if ur in the uk there's a chap on ebay who does a couple of guards for the bergs including an exhaust guard.

have one fitted and have never melted anything since.

Trouble With That Alloy One Is It Vibrates Loose As It Only Fixed By One Bolt

If you pick a piece of aluminum with about 1,5/2mm thickness, you can made one by yourself. Better you support it by 2 bolts. 1 in the exhaust mount near the kick and the other on the bolt which fix the side panel.

I've made one, and it's OK.

I just installed a carbon fiber heat shield from e-line and works really fine. It was pricey, but you can remove it when buy a new bike. there are two sizes: 6" and 8". The 6"fits good enough.

We are buiding heat shields for our 650's. We should have our first production run available in a few weeks.

I don't have a photo of the production version, but you can see the prototype on our site, in the Photo gallery section, 1st photo. The headpipe shield was unpainted, and will be a bit longer. The tailpipe shield is black, just behind the pipe. Both will be powder coated.

We're not making them fancy, or pricey. Prices to come. Sorry for the shameless plug-
