Erzberg YouTube videos

Great footage, must be real heart in the mouth stuff when you hit one of those big uphills.

Ola there,

Next year again, that's 4 sure.

In the race I made it to check point 5. There are 20 checkpoints to pass. With some 20 minutes still to go in the race I arrived at an almost vertical hill, about 7 meters high. I checked all angles and decided that I didn't want to take the chance. It was certainly something I would like to learn to master but after 4 greta days I just didn't want to take the risk and hirt myself in the last minutes.
Imagine what the rest of the obstacles were like!!

without absolutly not wanting to brag, but the first hills are great for spectators but relatively easy 2 master, certainly if you compare them to the rest.
The more spectacular passages are hard to find and further away.

Well, I have one year to practice and find myself some better riders that can learn me a few tricks.

Ciao,
Adriaan

Hi Adriaan,

Now lets be realistic here my friend, the only possible reason you could find those gigantic gnarly hills relatively easy is because of the superior motorcycle you were piloting.

I loved the videos, Awesome!!!!

Steve

Ola Steve,

I'am not sure I got it, there's nothing in my message box. Please send it again.
On the subject of The Superior Endurobike: for my business that would be the new FE 390. The other day I rode the KTM 400 2008 or 9: a looooot of traction and easy to ride.
I expect the390 husaberg to do even better.

The response I get to the video's is overwhelming, apparently people like the riders POV thing.

Cheers,
Adriaan

Hi Adriaan,

I just wanted to know if the bike you were riding in the video had an Akropovic exhaust on it, it sounded nice and if so does it increase the performance noticeably.

I tried to pick it when the bike was laying on its side (After that guy cut in front of you on that down hill bit  ) but I couldn't make it out.

Thanks Steve

Apart from the usual protection stuff and a MAP-switch the bike is bog-standard.
To be honest, my riding skills are yet not sufficient to make good use of all the horses in that bike.
Only when I feel that the power is not enough I would look for more umpf. And of course there's also a 570 in the stable...
A good suspensionset-up or tuning will make anyone go faster. that's 4 sure.

haha, thanks for being so kind to me

Fantastic vids Adriaan. My name is Pete, I'm the English guy that came out with you for a day in August and kept falling off..! Just wanted to say a big thank you for a fantastic days riding and memories that will stay with me for a long time. It was the first time for me on a dirt bike and I thought the bike was amazing. Then I also find our that your picture on here is the same as the one I use on the supermoto forum"seventeeninches" Spooky huh? (I'm lefthanded as well - spooky again)!

Anyway, a big thanks once again, hope you got your roof finished, and thanks for the beers. Hopefully see you again sometime.

Pete.

RE: Re: Erzberg YouTube videos

Crazy rinding on those climbs in 2nd video. Pushing pushing pushing to get up. It looks like the streets of Ho Chi Mihn City, and what would happen if they where all on bergs ????

Nice vids,

Anders, DK
