I think it should be a R3 mark stamped some where on the engine/head if the balancer is upgraded.
Husaberg had a special price for the -03 rockers during a limited time in Sweden. It was the owner who did that update.
I asked Husaberg about if it was possible to know if it was a single- or double bearing balancer by the chassis number. They didn't know when they started to use that item!!??!!
Perhaps KTM knows. Someone should know this since this is essential for manufacturing companies.
