Yes now that you mention it, i did clean out some minor metal particles from the oil screen. Someone told me it was normal so i thought nothing more of it?

Had almost same noise with mine, tear down revealed rod bearing starting to fail. Big end. Now I'm desperately trying to find one as they seem back ordered oem. I had metal fillings all over my drain magnet and throughout oil filter and screen.
