I've often found a bit of engine oil in the airbox on my '10 450 (definitely not air filter oil), which I assume is oil vapour coming up the breather pipe from the crankcase and condensing in the airbox; I just wipe it out when I'm cleaning the air filter. I'd only worry about it if there was a lot appearing. It's possible you may get more if the engine oil's overfilled but some usually appears on mine even though the oil level's normal.
FYI, if you do a deep water crossing and water gets into the airbox, have a look at how it will run out. There's a handy drain tube at the lowest point in the airbox. Oh, hang on - that's the crankcase breather pipe. Water can splash up through the gap behind the air filter (where the fuel pipe passes down) and get into the airbox through the underneath of the filter at the back so the filter looks completely dry when you take the seat off to check, but there's actually water in the airbox which then runs down the breather pipe into the crankcase and a little later your engine seizes because the oil is nothing but emulsified froth. Don't ask me how I know...
May be worth either re-routing the breather pipe or at least taking the air filter out if you're checking for water after a crossing.
