But just in case in real sound like that my problem it was just a bad clearance valve so i just adjust them and the noise gone.

hyebo, you have typhical valve noise, but this is not that! This is more a "whistling" noise, that sounds like it's coming from the waterpump/clutch/smaller bearing... Amyone???

My 2001 FC550, counter balance bearing (single row bearing) failed. The sound was close to yours. But I think after 2003 the counter balnace bearing was a double row bearing with none or little failures.
Just before the failure of the bearing I started to find more than normal metal chips in the oil.
So possible time for a tear down.

Ive got a 2006 model 650 that died about four years
Ago and ive been too afraid to get the wallet out and
Start fixing it. Although i know the basics of the start
Of the problem, the nut on the primary gear came loose
Of which in turn caused the keyway to give way splitting the
Primary (pinion) gear to crack in two. It had only done 50hrs
But i am yet to find out if the valves would have flapped freely
And caused damage or if i can just patch the shaft and replace
the gear. Pull the left cover off to check, cheers!
